You must load this scenery by using the path method or some objects that you have in your main CFS scenery folder will become RAF objects. You must DELETE any previous versions of RAF Charlie Base and any Aces High Base scenery that you have or you will have a BGL conflict. Version 1 released 10-1-2002

Located about 9 miles West of RAF Charlie Base on Guernsey Island. 2 landable RAF carriers escorted by 5 battleships.

You must load this scenery by using the path method or some objects that you have in your main CFS scenery folder will become RAF objects.

You need "classlist.bgl" in your main scenery folder if you want all carriers landable within CFS.

RAF Stonehenge
N51* 9.59'W1* 50.34'Alt.= 288 ft.

Located about 68 miles West of Central London. 1 runway. Refuel available. Night lighting, Static aircraft, RAF_OldBuzzard's "Roost" and the world famous mysterious rock formations with a hovering UFO and the dangling pink pig! All allies of the RAF are welcome!

You must load this scenery by using the path method or some objects that you have in your main CFS scenery folder will become RAF objects.

Stolen Lake
N46* 31.34'E7* 23.51'Alt.= 4071 ft.

Named this because my friend KS kcdave designed a base at the same location just days after me. He was a gentleman and moved his base. Located just 20 miles SW of Interlaken in Switzerland and just 10 miles West from RAF Yank's Liquor Store. Great alternative for bomb runs. Refuel available. Static aircraft and night lighting. Reasonable cabin rental rates for Allied pilots.

Northolt Base
N51* 32.10'W0* 25.37'Alt.= 122 ft.

Located just 11 miles West of London between 2 fictitious mountains. Features 1 bomber runway and 1 escort runway. Static aircraft and refuel available.

AFD included. (Airport File Directory) which allows for choosing in free flight etc.

Belgian Tiger Base
N51 5.78E2 40.35Alt.= 3 ft.

Located off the coast of Belgium. Features 2 large runways with night lighting and ADF. Squad barracks, Hospital, Headquarters, searchlight, static RAF B-17 aircraft, Mess Hall and the World famous Belgian Tiger Pub. Refuel available.

ADF frequency is 270 mhz. and activates at 100 miles.

Mahogany Rush Bomberbase
N47* 0.97'W2* 14.30'Alt.= Sea Level

Located in France about 25 miles South of Mahogany Rush Base. It also has 3 huge runways as well as 3 landable carriers. Refuel available. Floating balloons make it easy to find the carriers. Lots of static aircraft and night lighting.

Much thanx to KS kcdave for his help with learning the Airport 2.6 program. Located about 112 miles South of Ark Royal in France. It has 1 landable carrier off the coast and refuel available. Great for night flights. Searchlight, lighthouses and ramplights. Includes 3 huge runways.

RAF P-51 "Charlie Squad"
This is the "Charlie Squad" P-51 which is a required download for Charlie Squad members and an open download for anyone who wants to fly it. It is just a "stock" P- 51 from CFS 1 which has been repainted into our squad markings. Otherwise, the plane has not been altered and will work in restricted games.

The P-51 is an all around great aircraft to fly. It has good speed and manueverability as well as efficient weaponry. It is very landable on the Ark Royal aircraft carrier, even for beginners.

RAF C-17 "Charlie Squad"
This C-17 is set up with Matthias Lieberecht's very nice An124 panel. Updated GPS100 with corrected RAF Base positioning added. Much credit must go to Gregor C. Gebel's who has permitted the repaint of his great C-17 model. Thanks to Mike Hambly for the use of his very nice C-5a sound files.

This is Freeware. However it may only be used in accordance with the restrictions of the original authors whose work is presented here.

RAF Sopwith Camel
This is the same as the original stock CFS1 Sopwith Camel that comes on the CFS1 CD.

Nothing in the airfile has been modified. It has the exact same airfile as the original CFS1 CD version.

Only the textures were repainted for the RAF by Mahogany Rush.

RAF "Charlie" Bell 212
The RAF Bell Model 212 Twin Two - Twelve 15 seat military/civil utility helicopter first flew in 1968. Military aircraft are designated UH-1N in the USA and CH-135 in Canada. Power plant is a PT6T-3 twin turboshaft. Each engine is capable of producing 900 Hp, but the combined output is de-rated to 1290 Hp. This twin engine feature means increased safety in the event of engine failure and hence the 212 is a popular helicopter for offshore gas and oil rig support as well as rescue operations.
